Yes, you may defer your race up to the day before the event for a fee. You can do this through your RunSignUp account by following these instructions.

Your race packet will contain your swag and bib (or timing bib), which you will need to wear on race day. You can pick this up at Packet Pick-Up. Dates and times can be found for that here. Either yourself or someone else will need to pick up your packet. If someone else picks up your packet, they will need your QR code, which will be emailed to you the week of the event.
We ship out virtual race packets within a few days of the event from our location in Ann Arbor. This will be mailed to the address you have on file in RunSignUp.
As long as spots remain we offer same-day registration!
You will park on Belle Isle - once you drive onto the island traffic will be directed into a specific lot. While parking is free, you will need a DNR recreational passport to enter the island. For more information on that pass, please click here.
To see the start times of all of our events, please click here, select "In Person Events" and under "Event Details" the times for each event are listed. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time in the morning to account for traffic, parking, and any last minute race details!
Headphones are allowed in our running races, but for safety, we encourage you to use bone conduction, only one earbud, or keep the volume very low so you can hear your surroundings.
Epic Races welcomes parents with jogging strollers to participate in our running events. Please note that, if you are participating with a stroller, the following guidelines must be adhered to:
- Your child must remain securely fastened inside the stroller while on the course for safety and insurance reasons.
- You must keep your stroller to the right side of the race course, to allow a clear path on the left for runners and walkers.
- No weaving in and out of the other participants is allowed.
If you would like your child to participate in an event and recieve a medal, they must be signed up as well.
We have a combined start and finish line near the Belle Islen James Scott Memorial Fountain. Parking will be in a lot nearby.
Yes, everyone who crosses the finish line gets a medal! All of the medals for the distances will be the same.
Yes, someone else can pick up your packet for you. They will need to have your QR code, which will be emailed to you the week of the event. In the event that your QR code is not emailed, make sure the person picking up your packet has a copy of your registration confirmation with your full name visible.
While we LOVE dogs, we do not allow them to participate in a race designed for people unless they are service dogs. If you are going to bring your service dog, please email helpdesk@epicraces.com to let us know. Dogs are welcome as spectators provided they are on a leash.
Yes, we will have porta-potties near the start/finish line.
After the race we welcome all finishers to grab their medal and enjoy the post-race party with their spectators. There will be a post-event food tent, where participants can get an amazing spread provided by EPIC Races. If any spectator would like to purchase a food ticket, they can do so at this tent as well.
